Introduction
Music Talents 2018 is a talent competition for artists, musicians and composers. It will be held in Zweidorff Studio in Bergen in the period April-July 2018. The prize is the release of a song in digital channels (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.), produced for the winner of the competition.

Anyone who attends gets with them the admission of their audition, which they are free to use as they see fit. During the audition, there will be some limited time to work on the performance and edit and mix the recording. There will still be some opportunities to make re-recordings so that the talents will have more than one chance if mistakes are made, forget the text, or similar.

The contest has three categories, and the jury is free to choose one or more winners to contribute. The categories are:

• Artist
• Musician
• Composer / text

Examples of what can be done at audition in the various categories:

Artist
Performs song using a finished accompaniment (karaoke)
Accompanies himself or has brought a musician
Has produced song / beats, and presents this - with or without a brought vocalist

Musician
Brought instrument. Can also use an accompanying person who accompanies
Examples: Piano / keyboards, guitar, violin, cello, trumpet, harp

Composer / text
Music and / or lyrics that you have written yourself

Implementation
Each participant is set aside up to one hour for their audition: half an hour for recording, and the remaining for editing, mixing, mastering and delivery.

Registration deadline
Registration deadline is 31 May 2018. After the registration deadline has expired, everyone will be booked time in the studio. There will also be regular booking for those who want to have their audition early in the period the competition is in progress.

Price
Price per participant is 450, -.
